Darkroom Rental

Bring your analog projects to life in our fully equipped black-and-white darkroom! We offer hourly station rentals for photographers working with black-and-white film.

Price: 50 zł per hour (discounts available for Club Members!)
Minimum session length: 3 hours

We have 3 enlargers available — Linhof, Magnifax, and Opemus — supporting formats from 35mm up to 5x4 inches. The darkroom is fully stocked with everything you need: trays, timers, loupes, dryers, and other essential tools for working with light-sensitive materials.

FAQ

I’ve never worked in a darkroom before — what should I do?

We recommend joining our Intro to the Darkroom workshop. After completing it, you’ll be ready to use the darkroom on your own.

Is the 30-minute introduction enough if I have no experience?

No — the introduction is meant for those who already know the basics and can work independently. If you’re a beginner, we recommend signing up for the workshop.

Do I need to bring my own chemicals?

We provide all the basic darkroom chemicals (developer, stop bath, fixer) — it’s included in the rental price. However, each user brings their own photographic paper for printing. Let us know in advance if you need help choosing the right one.

Can I bring a guest or assistant with me?

Yes, but please let us know beforehand. The darkroom has a limited capacity. If your guest won’t be using a separate enlarger, the rental is still counted as a single user.

Can I work with color?

At the moment, our darkroom is set up for black-and-white materials only.
